Boys & Girls Nursery, which has a chain of childcare settings in the Hertfordshire and Middlesex area, welcomed lots of dads to enjoy some quality time with their children last week in the advent of Father’s Day on the 15th June.

The nursery encouraged dads to enjoy breakfast and morning activities – which included reading stories, building Lego, playing in the home corner and enjoying lots of garden time in the sunshine.

Natasha Kirby, Director and Founder of the nursery, said ‘It was lovely to see so many dads around the nurseries – the children had a great time showing their daddies the games they enjoy and introducing them to their little friends. She added: ‘We can’t wait for our next Parent Nursery Association event – inviting parents to join in events like these really help to reinforce the strong relationships that we have with our families.’

The nursery looks after 234 children and will be opening  a brand new setting in Rickmansworth later on this year.

What did your setting get up to in aid of fathers day?
