Early Years Educator – what the changes mean for you

As we are sure you know as of 1 September 2014 the Level 3 Diploma CYPW (Early years pathway) will be replaced by the Early Years Educator qualification, with funding for the current level 3 Diploma only available until the 31 July 2014 without the need for GCSE’s.

From 1 August 2014 government funding of early years training courses will require a GCSE grade C and above in English and Maths, with functional skills no longer accepted.

For those without the required GCSE’s

If you’re are looking to develop your training and were hoping to do the current Level 3 you will need to sign up before July 31st in order to gain government funding and gain access to the course without the new GCSE requirements.
