Katie O’Grady, from Boys & Girls Nursery, wanted to share what they’ve been getting up to recently:

The children at Boys & Girls Nursery had a special visit today in celebration of World Cat Day, Jean Gardner from the RSPCA came to spend time with the children not just talking about cats but also the importance of caring for animals.

A fun interactive session with lots of exciting activities kept the children entertained and they certainly came away full of smiles with a much greater knowledge and understanding.

Natasha Kirby, Founder of Boys & Girls Nursery said “We are really grateful to Jean for spending time with us. Learning about animals is exceptionally important and forms part of the EYFS. Not only did our children learn how to keep them healthy and happy but they also had lots of fun.”

“It was lovely to work with the children and so valuable to start teaching them how to care for animals properly from an early age,” said Jean Gardner, Volunteer RSPCA Middlesex North West Branch.
