Beverly Laud has been running her childminding business from her home in Linton for 25 years, and has never received anything less than ‘good’ in her inspections.
Thrilled about being awarded the second highest grade once again, she said of the inspection:
“I am very pleased with the result, although I would have been even happier with outstanding.
“Things are changing so fast with the way they inspect that it is hard to keep up.”
The inspector reported that the childminder had robust welfare and safeguarding procedures in place. It continued to say that there were good links with parents and that the children were happy when attending the setting.
The report states: “Children settle quickly in the child minder’s care and demonstrate they feel comfortable and secure in their surroundings.”
