The nursery has been completely transformed after 15 years and the reopening was a great way to celebrate the hard work of the staff team and the ongoing support of the parents and families. The event, on Friday 12th February, brought together the staff team, management team, existing families, prospective families, previous families that have now graduated from nursery and partners from the Early Years department of Ealing Council.

The celebrations consisted of the ribbon cutting, a book reading and signing from Rachel Sherfield, a Hungry Caterpillar Raffle, children’s goody bags, butterfly cupcakes and a delicious buffet! The parents absolutely loved it and all money raised from the books and the raffle has been donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital, which is Hungry Caterpillars chosen charity.

The support from the families and staff team throughout the temporary move was outstanding and the renovation couldn’t have been as successful without their help. The children are settled extremely well and looking forward to a fresh start in their brand new nursery.

Ex Northolt Parent, Samantha, came along to the event with her children and said, “The transformation of the nursery is beautiful, I loved it when my children attended 2 years ago but it really is an outstanding change. My girls love it and want to come back to nursery!”
