Worcester nursery plans special open morning to celebrate 30 years

On Friday 1st April, Hawthorn Cottage Nursery, Blakefield Road in St John’s, Worcester, will be celebrating their 30th anniversary with an opening morning which will run from 9am – 11:30am.The nursery is welcoming families to meet the staff, participate in party-themed activities and tour the setting itself.

Those that attend will be invited to take part in a raffle for the chance to win two tickets to a rugby match, a family pass to the West Midland Safari Park, a £20 Toys R Us voucher, an activity pass to the St John’s Sports Centre, a case of wine, a Sainsbury’s hamper and much more!

Tickets cost £1 and all proceeds will be donated to the Worcester charity, New Hope – winners will be notified on Monday morning.

Deputy manager, Naomi Stanfield, states: “We chose New Hope charity as it is a local charity that stands for a wonderful cause, in supporting families who have children with disabilities and complex health care needs and we are very happy to be supporting them in that and raise awareness of the work they do.”
