A nursery in Pembrokeshire has recently celebrated a milestone of 25 years with a free Fun Day for children.
Rachael Rendell, manager at Bright Start Nursery, and her team welcomed families and helped children take part in messy play, face painting and planting seeds. Other exciting outdoor activities included the sensory garden and bouncy castle.
Sara Hannon, who attended the day with her two sons, said: “The boys are having so much fun today. It’s great to see what’s available at the nursery with so many activities and toys for them to play with. The nursery staff are lovely and have made everyone feel so welcome.”
Little Monsters were also present on the day, making balloon models of popular children’s characters from Disney’s Frozen and also Despicable Me. Claire Eaton Photography took family portraits.
The icing on the cake came – literally – in the form of a giant birthday cake made by local business The Welsh Bakery.
When the day came to an end, everyone was given a Bright Start goodie bag to take home with them.
Ms Rendell added: “It’s been a very busy day for us and it’s been great to see so many people here to celebrate our 25th birthday. We hope that everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did.”
