Mulberry Bush Montessori was praised for its exemplary teaching, management and behaviour of the children who attend in its first inspection.
Rated as ‘outstanding’ by education watchdog Ofsted, the report was full of praise for the setting which recently changed from sole trader to a limited company.
Inspector Lynn Hughes said: “Children excel in their learning, making exemplary progress from their starting points.
“All children are superbly supported in both their learning and development and their well-being needs. Practitioners work extremely well with other professionals to support all children, especially those who have special educational needs or disability.”
Some parents made a special visit to the nursery on the day of inspection to show their support, as well as providing their opinions and praise.
The setting, which was awarded the Good Beginnings Bronze Award for Autism Friendly Environments, was praised for how well the children play together and their kind nature.
Currently accommodating 44 children, the setting cares for children aged 2 and a half up to the age of 5. The setting boasts an all-weather outdoor play area, arts & crafts room along with an imaginative play room.
