Slough Day Nursery hosted an action-packed fun day, raising money for Crackerjack’s Children’s Trust.
Dressing up as princesses and superheroes, they raised more than £140 for the charity which helps buy equipment for disabled children.
There were a vast array of characters, including Sleeping Beauty and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Raphael, all of who took part in activities including princesses and superheroes hunt and a reading session.
Staff also got involved, with nursery assistant Sam Cole dressing as Superwoman and Abbey Towsey, the nursery manager, dressing as Merida from Brave.
Jo Gawlik, assistant manager at the nursery, dressed as Batman for the occasion. She said, “It was a great day, we all had a fantastic time and it was nice to see children dressed up and acting out as their favourite characters.
“We had a lot of good feedback from parents and a lot of them have been very supportive of the cause.
“We chose to support Crackerjacks charity, as we do sympathise with the cause they support and it is close to our hearts as a childcare company.”
