Lorraine Darlington sent us this lovely update on the rebuild progress of one of the nurseries owned by Creche n Co which was devastated by flooding in Rochdale last year:

“Creche n Co Ltd are thrilled to be able to announce that our Hopwood Hall College Nursery, Hopwood Hall College, St Mary’s Gate, Rochdale is finally reopen to children and parents following the devastating Boxing Day Flood 2015 that affected Rochdale and left the nursery under several feet of water, claiming the entire nursery, furniture, toys, children’s work and progress records and our beautiful playground!

“It has been a long and difficult nine months for the nursery to be refurbished, we are proud of our nursery staff team for their hard work and loyalty and for maintaining their GOOD Ofsted rating, providing continued quality Care and Education from temporary portakabins.

“We would like to thank our children and parents for their patience and trust during this time and the Hopwood Hall College staff team and the RMBC Early Years Team for their professional help and support.”
