Press release

Boys & Girls Nursery in Croxley Green and Rickmansworth were visited by local fire and police services. Both emergency services made their educational visits enjoyable and engaging, speaking about their job roles and what to do in a situation if help was needed.

The pre-schoolers thoroughly enjoyed their interactive visits – they were shown lots of different equipment and even got to take the back seat in the emergency vehicles.  They loved dressing up, having their finger prints taken and hearing about what a fabulous job our emergency services do.

Natasha Kirby, Director, Boys & Girls Nursery said: “Many thanks to both the fire service and the police who took the time to visit our Pre-Schools.  Your visits are invaluable to our children and bring our topics to life.”

In honour of our theme of the month ‘People that help us’ our nurseries held a number of exciting activities throughout, however these stimulating Mini VIP events were particularly fun, engaging and were loved by pre-school.
