Childcare assessor training
Parenta is committed to making a real difference in the childcare industry and can give you that opportunity too, through a childcare assessor qualification. As an assessor, you’ll meet a wide variety of providers and learners every day, gaining new experience and influencing the quality of provision at every setting.
This five month course builds on the childcare experience you have already gained, and provides a range of tools to help you effectively pass these skills onto others through professional assessment and tutoring.
Who is this course for?
This childcare qualification is intended for those who want to assess occupational competence in the work environment. It will also help if you plan to assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment).
In order to apply for an assessor qualification, you must have a Level 3 Early Years Vocational childcare qualification, with two years post childcare qualification experience or five years supervisory experience.
Due to the vocational nature of the award, you need to be released from your employment to complete observations with learners who will be allocated by Parenta.
