Childcare Apprenticeships Qualification (formerly NVQ Level 2 in Childcare)
The Level 2 childcare qualification for the Children and Young People’s Workforce is for those employed in a childcare setting that have recently started a career in the Early Years.
It allows you to work with children under supervision and to count in staff ratios, whilst giving you the skills to gain more knowledge in specific areas of childcare and progress your career.
If you’d like to earn while you learn Level 2 can be taken as an apprenticeship, these are fully funded for learners, meaning that you can develop your career in childcare for free with Parenta Training (subject to conditions*).

The course visits many areas including:
- Childcare training to develop your skills and learn new ones
- Key work skills such as communication, first aid and employment rights and responsibilities
- Building your knowledge through work experience
- The Level 2 Children and Young People’s Workforce qualification as well as key work skills

How much does the course cost?
