HR Officer

Job type: Full Time (part-time also considered) / Maternity cover/permanent

Locations: Based at Maidstone, Kent

Salary/benefits: £20-£22,000 p/a, Private Health Insurance

We are now looking for a high-quality HR Officer to assist our team, with the recruitment and induction of new staff, and the HR support of existing staff.

The role will involve all aspects of recruitment and induction, including shortlisting, interviews, contract and letter preparation, reference checking and initial training.  The successful candidate will also be responsible for ongoing staff matters including maintenance of holiday and sickness records, upkeep of personnel files and involvement in D&G matters and advising staff on employment law principles.

A conscientious individual, the chosen candidate will understand the importance of their role within the smooth-running of the team, and how the quality of their own work will affect the team’s success.

The successful candidate will have experience of recruitment procedures and maintaining accurate and confidential records of staff. They will need to be IT literate, and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

Essential / Minimum Requirements for the role:

  • GCSE’s   (or equivalent) – English & Maths at Grade C or above
  • CIPD Support-Level Qualification (i.e. CPP)
