Parenta Trust FAQ

Yes, you can!  Simply write a letter to:

Fields of Life Sponsorship Team, P.O. Box 36388, Kampala, Uganda

Please make sure that your letter clearly states the sponsored child’s name and the child’s unique code, so our team in Africa can identify them. Be careful not to include your home address or personal contact details in the letter – this is for your own personal safety.

Yes, you can write an email to your sponsored child and send it to hello@fieldsoflife.org.

Make sure your sponsored child’s full name and reference number is detailed in the email subject line so they’re easy for us to identify.  Your full name and reference number should also be included in the email. This will then be printed off and delivered to your child by the Fields of Life team in East Africa.

For £17 a month, your sponsored child receives:

  • A chance to go to school
  • A uniform every year
  • A meal a day
  • A Christmas gift
  • Exercise books / stationery

If you’d like to give your sponsored child a gift (e.g on their birthday) we advise sending a cheque for no more than £10 to the Fields of Life GB Office, Newton House, Winch Road, Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8EF. We’ll then allocate this money to the sponsorship team in East Africa, who will purchase a suitable gift for the child.

This method is preferable to sending a gift to your child Africa directly, as postage can be erratic and sometimes parcels don’t arrive. Please note, cash donations should not be sent in the post.

Parenta Trust runs a yearly fact-find trip to Uganda where we take a small group of people to visit schools and projects in the local area. If you’d like to find out more and enquire about the cost of this trip, please email trust@parenta.com.

If you’re planning to visit your sponsored child independently, please contact the Parenta Trust office 8 weeks in advance of your trip. This will enable the team in East Africa to organise your visit without any disappointments.
