Parenta is proud to announce a 58% growth in 2012, with turnover reaching £3 million.

Most of this expansion is through our childcare training arm, which now trains 1500 students every year, delivering Level 2, Level 3 and Level 5 childcare courses, as well as childcare assessor awards. As the business grows, the support we give our learners continues to improve, and the satisfaction surveys we’re receiving reflect that. Allan Presland, Managing Director, is delighted with the results.

Our nursery management software has been important in supporting the business as well. 2013 will see the launch of our childminder and pre-school software. The technical development for these childcare systems is now happening in-house, creating additional jobs in Kent, where we are based.

“Bringing software development in-house has given us a renewed focus on innovation,” said Allan. “The launch of Regista software for childminders, Out-of-school clubs and pre-schools will mean more childcare providers can benefit from systems that allow them to concentrate more on what’s really important; caring for children.”

We are also pleased that our recently launched charity, The Parenta Trust, has committed to building a pre-school in Uganda this year. We look forward to working with our partners on the ground in East Africa, Fields of Life, to provide pre-school education for 100 disadvantaged youngsters.
