On 29 May, we are going out to open Parenta Trust’s first pre-school in Uganda! It’s the result of lots of hard work fundraising, much of which came from our Maidstone to Monaco banger rally last year (we’re going again this year, if you’re interested!).
As you can imagine, the children who will be attending the school do not have the same access to clothes and equipment as we do in the UK, so we’re hoping you can help!
Do you have any old equipment or clothes?
We’d love to go bearing gifts, so please do let us know if you have any of the following that you no longer require:
- Clothing
- Sports equipment
- Educational posters
- Art supplies (like those little foam letters that children can paint and stamp)
- Any other suitable equipment for under-5’s
Obviously, we’ll be taking it as luggage so the lighter the better!
