The Elmscot Group was named Business of the Year at the Trafford Business Awards 2014 at Emirates Old Trafford last week, beating Lancashire County Cricket Club and New Care Projects to the top spot.
The award recognises local businesses (with over 50 employees) that can demonstrate their achievements including excellent business strategy, good financial performance and potential for the future.
The Elmscot Group, founded in 2001, provides childcare and education for nearly 1000 children aged 0-11 years across 3 day nurseries and 8 “School’s Out” out-of-school clubs based in primary schools in South Manchester and Cheshire.
Owners and Directors Stephanie Molnar and Dee Cross said: “We are absolutely delighted and honoured to win Trafford Business of the Year.
“We are proud of the outstanding service which we continually strive to offer families and that we have been able to boost local employment. Local suppliers play a key role in our growing business. The event was sponsored by Metronet (UK) and hosted by TV presenter Lucy Meacock.
