A group of federation nurseries are celebrating after all 3 schools received outstanding Ofsted reports.

In May of 2013 Cookham Nursery School, Maidenhead Nursery School and The Lawns Nursery School in Windsor formed the federations, sharing 2 co-headteachers and one governing body.

Betweeen October 2013 and October of this year, each setting was subjected to a full inspection by the government body Ofsted, with each one receiving the highest accolade.

One report states: “The nursery is a joyful place because it provides a wonderful rich environment where children develop their love of learning.”

One of the co-Headteachers, Helen McHale, said of the results:

"It is an amazing achievement that all three schools have been inspected within a year and have all been judged as outstanding in all areas.”

"We have a very experienced and committed staff team and the judgements bear testament to this."

The other Headteacher, Sarah Cottle, added: “Despite our three outstanding inspections we are determined not to be complacent and will further develop links with other outstanding nurseries to share ideas and improve our existing provision.”
