Deborah Parfitt, EYFS Manager at Little Owls Daycare, wanted to share some good news with us after a recent inspection at her setting:
Ofsted commend staff for their outstanding knowledge which provide children with high quality play experiences making them highly motivated to learn.
Little Owls Daycare, which is part of the Federation of Nene Infant and Nursery School and Ramnoth Junior School, were inspected by Ofsted recently and awarded an Outstanding judgement in all four areas. This means they have maintained their Outstanding judgement since they opened in September 2010.
Some of the many strengths highlighted in the report include:
- 'the excellent support from staff and the wide range of exciting opportunities available in the setting, children have extremely happy early years experiences'
- ‘children make the very best progress in their overall development’
- ‘Leadership is inspirational. The senior management team have clarity of vision, determination and a drive for improvement that is second to none.’
The Daycare were encouraged to continue to ‘implement the detailed and excellent plans to extend staff’s already first-rate knowledge to an even higher level, to improve children’s outcomes even further.’
The Elliot Foundation Academy Trust who sponsor the Federation said: 'We are delighted by this report and recognise the hard work and commitment of all staff who work so hard to provide the quality of care which we feel our children need and deserve.'
