Green Wellie Day Nursery added an extra twist to the end of their nativity play by revealing that they had achieved an ‘outstanding’ from Ofsted in their latest inspection.
70 children, aged between 1 and 4, took part in their nursery’s production which was staged at Barrow Village Hall and attracted an audience of 200 people.
At the end of the classic nativity story, the children raised letters which read: ‘We’re Outstanding’
Nursery Director, Jo Chandler, said:
“It is such an achievement for us all and I’m proud of everyone – staff, pupils and parents. It was lovely to celebrate together.”
As proof of just how outstanding they are, the setting also arranged a collection at the production in aid of the Sarah Applin Fund for the neonatal unit at West Suffolk Hospital, raising £117.
