The Little Treasures Nursery in Hartlepool has just celebrated its 1st birthday.

The setting caters for babies as young as 3 months up to the age of 5, and to celebrate the first 12 months they came up with a fancy dress theme.

Dressed as pirates, the little ones and their carers had a little party with the nursery manager saying that all youngsters and staff had a great time and are looking forward to another successful year.

She continued: “To celebrate the event, we held a pirate-themed party. We had a treasure hunt and a bouncy castle, as well as other party games.”

“It was a great day and all our children dressed up to share in the fun.”

“We can’t believe we have been open a year, it has gone so fast!”

“The nursery opened April last year to provide much-needed childcare in the town centre area of the town, including Stranton, Belle Vue and Foggy Furze areas.”

Open all year round, except for Christmas and Bank Holidays, the setting provides care from 8am to 6pm with funded places available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Claire said: “We offer so much more than other nurseries.”

“We have a large sports hall, bouncy castle, dance studio, and our newly opened sensory room. Being in a community setting we have so much more to offer than just a nursery.”
