St Clements Pre-school in Boscombe has received a glowing report from Ofsted after an inspection in which they could not be faulted!
The report heaped praise on the staff and recognised the development made by youngsters who attend the setting.
With 27 children in attendance, the pre-school group meets on weekday mornings and received an “outstanding” grade with the inspector stating:
“Staff have an outstanding knowledge of how to meet children’s individual emotional needs, resulting in children who are extremely confident, motivated and secure to explore and learn. Staff skilfully involve parents in their children’s learning and progress. The quality of teaching is exceptional. Children develop extremely good conversational skills, including those who learn English as an additional language.”
The report added: “Children make extremely strong progress from their starting points. They gain excellent skills and knowledge that prepares them exceptionally well for future learning.”
Run by Elaine King and Rachael Hills, the setting and its staff were thrilled with such a glowing report and their second “outstanding” grade.
They have said: “Access to high quality care and education is vital to ensuring that children have the best possible start in life. Ofsted statistics continue to show that providers in disadvantaged areas are less likely to achieve an Ofsted judgement of good or outstanding. We have proved that this doesn’t have to be the case and providers can achieve great results with commitment, dedication and a great team.”
