As of September Barnsbury Primary School will be able to take on more pupils when a new nursery is set to open.
The Department of Education has given the green light to the school’s proposals, allowing them to go ahead with the nursery build.
School places are at a premium across Surrey, and this new nursery will welcome families from South Woking.
The nursery will be able to offer 24 places and has said they will also consider applications from families in neighbouring towns and villages.
The new nursery will be based on the same site as the primary school, on Almond Avenue, and will cater for boys and girls between the ages 2 to 4.
