Runabouts, previously known as Railway Runabouts Preschool, has moved to a new home in Albemarle Centre in Taunton.
The setting has been operating since 1992, receiving a ‘good’ rating from Ofsted in 2014. Now they are in their new setting, they are continuing to work towards an ‘outstanding’ rating.
The pre-school is now situated in a bright, well-equipped room which boasts a large enclosed outdoor area with ‘free-flow’ facilities to support children’s learning.
Manager of Runabouts, Rob Warren, said all were settling in well after the move. He added:
“The children, families and staff have settled extremely well into our new environment and we are continuing to thrive as a setting.
“We pride ourselves on our friendly and nurturing approach to support children’s learning and development.
“We welcome all families into the setting to experience, observe and enjoy what we offer here at Runabouts.”
Louise Porter, committee chairman, said of the move:
“We have had so many changes since I became chairman in 2015.
“We have all worked very hard to prepare for the opening of the new setting and it is great to now see the preschool running smoothly and successfully.
“I am proud to be part of such a great team.”
