On Sunday 7th May, Parenta employee Marie Kershaw organised a quiz night to help raise money for the Parenta Trust at Lordswood Leisure Centre in Kent.
By the end of the evening, £562.05 had been raised to split equally between the Parenta Trust, Cancer Research and Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Marie, who is also a trustee of the Parenta Trust, said: “I would like to thank everyone for being so supportive; not just this year but for every year I have hosted the quiz night; whether that was by offering raffle prizes, putting teams together and attending or selflessly munching your way through the food on the night and the charity cake bakes in the office.
“These charities mean a lot to me, as I’m sure they do for a lot of other people too, and you have all helped to make a difference and raise money for their causes. You are all amazing. Thank you.”
Later this year, the Parenta Trust will be finalising the build of its fifth pre-school in Uganda as part of its pledge to build 10 schools over the course of a decade.
