Hungry Caterpillar Day Nurseries are thrilled to announce another one of their settings have been graded OUTSTANDING by Ofsted in a recent inspection. The day nursery in Perivale were inspected by Ofsted in August 2017.
Ofsted have reported that the leadership, management and quality of teaching is outstanding and also recognised the nursery manager’s dedication to building relationships with the children and families after setting up Parents’ Forums to share values and views of parents, along with a child’s questionnaire asking them about their nursery.
Hungry Caterpillar Perivale were also proud to be recognised for their enthusiasm to learning new languages and supporting families that speak English as an additional language by introducing home languages in their learning and play.

“I also believe that with any inspection it is a real joint effort and I have to thank the whole Hungry Caterpillar team from the senior leaders, other nurseries and the input of our Head Office team who have all played an effective part in this grading.

Perivale is now the third Hungry Caterpillar setting to achieve an outstanding result, meaning 30% of Hungry Caterpillar Day Nurseries are currently outstanding and the remainder are rated good.
