Broughton Under Fives Pre-school and Nursery has received a ‘good’ rating from Ofsted. The school has maintained its ‘good’ rating from its last inspection in January 2014.
An Ofsted inspector visited the school on September 14 and said: “The managers are committed to ensuring that children receive good-quality care and education.
“Staff are well qualified and demonstrate very good teaching skills. They encourage children to think, solve problems for themselves and assist children to research and find information out for themselves.
“Children develop a positive sense of themselves and their behaviour is good. Staff are good role models and teach children to be polite and respectful.”
The inspector toured the school and spoke with children and staff before observing the teaching of indoor and outdoor activities.
A spokesman for the school said: “We’re all delighted with our report but this could not have been achieved without the hard work of the staff, the wonderful children, supportive parents and committee.”
