National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) has launched its annual practitioner’s workforce survey and is asking for the sector to give their results.
The survey, which was launched this week, will run until Sunday 18 February.
This year, the survey will ask about practitioner’s roles, qualifications, hours worked and pay. Some further questions include having a second job and whether EU nationals born outside of the UK are worried about impact of Brexit.
NDNA will be analysing the results and presenting them in Spring.
NDNA Chief Executive, Purnima Tanuku OBE, said: “Our practitioner’s survey is a great opportunity for us to hear practitioner’s voices and create a complete picture of the early year’s workforce.
“NDNA is dedicated to lobbying government to invest in a quality workforce so it is very important for everyone to fill in the survey so we can continue our hard work to make change.”
The survey lasts approximately 15 minutes and participants will automatically be entered into a prize draw for one of three prizes, including £100 of shopping vouchers, an online early years training course worth £25 or an NDNA publication of choice.
