A special breakfast morning was held at Emneth nursery to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Emneth Nursery School & Children’s Centre in Cambridgeshire welcomed 26 families to the event to enjoy sausage baps and croissants. Parents were also greeted with bunches of flowers.
Cream teas were served for mums to enjoy in the afternoon.
The day was open to all female role models who play an important part in the children’s lives.
Headteacher Holly Bowman said: “It was a real success. We had three sittings for breakfast in the morning and parents were given bunches of flowers.
“It was a chance for those to come together and spend time with loved ones and we had some great feedback.
“Everyone said that they wished we could do something like this every day!”
The setting cares for 110 children up to the age of four.
