Press release:
National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) has launched its Annual Nursery Survey for 2018.
There are three separate surveys for England, Scotland and Wales focusing around vital funding issues for each nation.
NDNA is urging all nursery providers to participate in this year’s annual survey, in order to get the most detailed picture of the sector’s challenges.
Purnima Tanuku OBE, Chief Executive of NDNA, said: “This year, it is now more important than ever for nurseries to provide results in this survey.
“We are unfortunately seeing a rise in settings facing increasing worry of closure due to lack inadequate levels of funding as well as a recruitment crisis affecting nurseries up and down the country. This survey and report will be used to lobby government and make changes that nursery providers actually need.
“The survey is open to all – not just our members – so we can create a full picture of what needs to change in the early years sector.”
As a thank you to those who complete the survey, respondents will be entered into a prize draw to win £200 worth of nursery resources from our new partners TTS and The Consortium.
The England and Scotland surveys will close on 16 April and the Wales survey will close on 25 April. To take part, or read our previous reports, please visit: www.NDNA.org.uk/annualsurvey.
