First day back after Easter – the alarm’s going off, it’s 5.45am! I haven’t seen that time of day in two weeks. We’re up and dressed ready for the day ahead when it suddenly occurs to me that I haven’t even opened my laptop for the whole half term, let alone read my books for the NVQ!
Feeling worried and exhausted at the thought of catching up…and it’s only day one of the new term! Silly me. But it was my children’s holiday too and they deserve my full attention. I will definitely catch up – it’s a case of having to!
