Little Robins Pre-school presented a play for elderly people from Armoral Hill Day Centre, set up to tackle loneliness in the elderly, instead of their usual audience of parents and family members.

The children performed “Toby’s Christmas Drum” including seven songs which they learnt by heart.

“Everyone clearly enjoyed the play and we are delighted to have been able to share some festive cheer and a mince pie with elderly residents from St Albans at this time of year,” said the pre-school’s manager, Carrie Smith, to the Herts Advertiser.

The pre-school has a close relationship with the Armoral Hill charity and they visit the day centre frequently. This visit corresponds with the 50th anniversary of the charity.
