Riverside Day Nursery is celebrating after being awarded the highest mark by Ofsted after their last inspection on 27th February.
The report said: “Children behave exceptionally well and are kind to one another. They form very strong bonds with staff, who nurture and support them to develop a sense of belonging.”
It also praised the manager and staff stating: “they meticulously plan settling-in sessions for children. This supports children’s emotional development extremely well. The manager successfully secures early support from professionals, such as specialist teachers. This helps to rapidly close any gaps in children’s learning. Support for children with SEND is exceptional.”
The founder of the nursery, Emma Summersgill, said to Windsor Observer: “We couldn’t be more thrilled.
“I’m very proud of our nursery manager, Nikita, and the team for all the hard work they put in to making our nursery the happy learning hub that it is.
“We’re committed to providing a nurturing home-from-home environment where the children can explore the world and gain confidence. It was wonderful to have the Ofsted inspector endorse this, especially remarking on the strength of teaching and how well the children are prepared for school. It shows the children really are getting the best start.”
