The children at Milton Hall have been talking about Remembrance Day and respecting the two-minute silence. They have made a wreath out of twigs, raffia, wrapped the wreath with red and green organza fabric with poppies made out of red card. The children then walked to the Memorial at Englefield Green cemetery and sat around the memorial. Sutindar Lal talked about the symbol of each stone and how they are pointing to different directions for a reason. One pointing in the direction of Canada to remember the soldiers that came from Canada.
Dominique Patrikios Deputy said it was a very good way of teaching the children about past experience how we remember the soldiers that lost their lives in the past.
