Feedback from Early Years Alliance members and the wider sector as a whole reveals that the pressures of working in the sector during the pandemic have taken a toll on mental health and wellbeing.
As a result, the EYA is continuing to campaign for fairer funding and other broader support from the government, to ensure that the impact of the pandemic on wellbeing across the sector is not overlooked.
The organisation has launched a new survey looking specifically at the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health and wellbeing of the early years workforce and is calling for all those who work in childcare to have their say.
The survey will close on Tuesday 22 December, with results published early in the New Year.
