The children at Milton Hall Montessori School were able to experience the colourful celebrations of "Chinese New Year" with the help of Sean’s parents kindly borrowed a Lion dance head dress.
At circle time a story, was read to explained about the year of the Ox and shared cultural foods and celebrations.
The children learned about Chinese culture by dressing up in traditional costumes and using chopsticks and making a fan using paper plates and lollipop sticks.

The children aged from Two to four year olds creating their own Chinese pictures and writing using gold pen.
The children learned to greet each other in Chinese saying depending on where you come from .

A real big thank you to Sean and parents for helping and contributing towards this special celebration. We all had fun especially the children at Milton Hall Montessori School it was a wonderful experience.
