Tops Day Nurseries Corfe Mullen, on Blandford Road, have recently welcomed Shaye Jaques, as nursery manager to their setting. Before joining Tops Corfe Mullen, Shaye was the nursery manager at Tops Yeovil and has been part of the Early Years Education sector for 18 years.
During her time at Tops Yeovil, Shaye transformed the nursery into a beautiful eco-sustainable setting and supported all nurseries across the Tops family with achieving a Green Flag accreditation, making Tops Day Nurseries the first nursery chain in the UK to receive full accreditation across all of is settings.
Since joining Tops Corfe Mullen, Shaye has already implemented a number of positive changes; building relationships with colleagues, children and parents as well as becoming an active member of the Corfe Mullen community. She has lots of ideas that she can’t wait to implement to improve the nursery and support the staff.
Shaye said, “I am looking forward to transforming the garden into a sustainable food source from growing veg and herbs to planting fruit trees. I also can’t wait to support the inside of the nursery to take them to the next level of sustainability by extending the children’s learning and continuing to implement more of the curiosity approach with real life resources. I also want to help build on the team’s knowledge and understanding and support them in continuing their professional development”.
Tops Corfe Mullen is part of an eco-sustainable Early Education and Care nursery group, Tops Day Nurseries.
