Press relsease from: Milton Hall Montessori Nursery School
The children and teachers at Milton Hall Montessori Nursery School decided to take a slightly crazy, bonkers and colourful approach to the Nativity Show this term!
After two years of not being able to do the Nativity Show in front of a live audience due to Covid-19, we went full force into a mini West-End Production, with professional lighting, projected backgrounds, and hand made costumes, beautifully designed and hand made by teaching staff.
The children were amazing and participated in many dress rehearsals, learning the songs and lines off by heart…we are so proud of them for learning how to use the microphones and where to stand on the stage without prompting them.
Milton Hall decided to follow the traditional Nativity Story, as we feel this is important for the children to know, but we added a twist, with a very colourful narrator, some neon glow in the dark party sheep and loud citizens!
Some 150 parents, grandparents, relatives and friends of the Milton Hall Montessori children descended into the school last Thursday and filled the hall with much needed clapping and singing, as well as the smell of coffee and mince pies which made the Nativity Show this year, definitely one to remember!
The BaaRMY sheep stole the show with their dance around ‘the stable’. We had donkeys, sheep, and a camel
The kings and their camel followed the ‘bright star’ and eventually found their way to Bethlehem. They enjoyed their lively dance ‘bumping along on their camel who were bumping up and down under them!
Mary, Joseph, and the donkeys sat patiently waiting as the benches filled up with beautiful angels, twinkling stars and lively animals.
The shepherds looked on and remembered to ‘stare in amazement
Leo the Narrator very proudly told the story to all the audience.
