Introducing Guest Author: Dr Jane Todd

Dr. Jane Todd is a qualified Teacher and Doctor of Education with a strong background in school leadership and university lecturing. She previously owned and operated a highly successful, Ofsted Outstanding-rated nursery in the Northeast, all while supporting other nursery owners to achieve sustainability and growth.

Over the years, Jane has worked closely with Local Authorities and early years settings, offering mentoring, training, and business support - including in-depth one-to-one business analysis - to help nursery managers and owners run efficient, effective, and thriving businesses.

Today, she dedicates most of her time to supporting nursery owners through one-to-one coaching, her signature Thrive nursery business programme, business audits, and tailored support services - from single Power Hours to long-term partnerships.

An educator at heart, Jane remains deeply committed to the children, families, and staff at the centre of every setting she works with, ensuring that business success never comes at the expense of educational quality or care.
