About The Guide
As we grow up and go through education, there is usually always someone there to check-in on us and make sure that we are doing well, achieving the things we need to, and generally making sure we are reaching our true potential. But when we leave school, and go to work, few of us have the same kind of support that we have in school or college. We may have a line manager and other colleagues to talk to and ask questions of, but we understand that their role is different. They are there to make sure we learn what we need to, to do our job properly and fit in with the company. That’s not the same as having someone look out for us personally and making sure that we are OK or are progressing as fast, or as well as we can.
