About The Course
How do I achieve the qualification?
The course is made up of a number of units, each with a credit score. You’ll take a number of units which add up to a minimum of 40 credits. You’ll complete 22 credits from mandatory units and 18 credits from units of your choice.
During this team leading course, you’ll cover skills such as managing personal performance and development, communicating work-related information, leading and managing a team, principles of team leading and understanding business.
This qualification will also include personal learning and thinking skills, employment rights and responsibilities as well as functional skills in English, Maths and ICT.
Please be aware you will be required to do an initial assessment in order to qualify for government funding and achieve the minimum entry requirements for each course.
You will also be required to complete functional skills exams for English, Maths and ICT unless you have any exemptions or have previously achieved the required levels.
How long will the course take me to complete?
As with anything worthwhile, this team leading qualification requires you to dedicate some of your time to it. This will be 12 months, but afterwards you’ll have the fantastic feeling of becoming a professionally recognised member of staff and set yourself up for a long and rewarding career.
We are very flexible when it comes to assessment for this team leading course and can adapt to suit your individual learning style!
How will I be assessed?
You’ll be assessed through a mixture of ‘at home’ and ‘at work’ tasks. Before this happens, your assessor will talk with you to find out what learning style suits you best and tailor your assessments
